Kendall Gerdes is an Assistant Professor of Technical Communication & Rhetoric at Texas Tech University. Kendall earned her PhD in Rhetoric & Writing from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was Assistant Director of the Digital Writing and Research Lab. Her research focuses on gender, ethics, and rhetorical theory, tracing the ways that gender marks and even constitutes the rhetorical structure of address.
