Nick J. Mulé, PhD is an associate professor in the School of Social Work and is also seconded to the School of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies at York University in Toronto, Canada. His research interests include the representation and recognition of LGBTQ populations in social policy and service provision as distinct communities in cultural, systemic, and structural contexts. He also engages in critical analysis of the LGBTQ movement and the development of queer liberation theory. A queer activist, Nick is the founder of Queer Ontario. He is also a psychotherapist in private practice serving LGBTQ populations in Toronto.
