Jennifer Gaboury is a full-time Lecturer and Advisor in the Department of Women and Gender Studies at Hunter College. She trained as a political theorist at UC Santa Cruz, the New School for Social Research, and CUNY Graduate Center. Her work relates to issues of masculinities, feminisms, and politics; she is currently working on a book on the history of race and sex segregation in public bathrooms. She has served on the boards of CLAGS and Alternatives to Marriage Project, and has been a member of the Advisory Committee for the LGBT Rights Division at Human Rights Watch, where, in another lifetime, she worked.
