Vincent A. Lankewish

Vincent Lankewish holds degrees in English from New York University (B.A.); Merton College, Oxford (M.Phil.); and Rutgers University-New Brunswick (Ph.D.). A specialist in Victorian literature, he is completing a book manuscript, entitled “Seeing through the Marriage Plot: Same-Sex Marriage, Queer Vision, and the Rise of Ophthalmology in Victorian England.”  His articles have appeared in academic journals such as “Victorian Literature and Culture,” “Nineteenth-Century Literature,” and “College Literature.”  Dr. Lankewish teaches Humanities at the Professional Performing Arts High School in Manhattan.
